What's going on with the Chances
Dana qualified for the Ironman World Championship in July with a 10:29 and placed second in her age group at Ironman Austria. Six weeks later she made the podium again by placing 5th place in her age group at Ironman Canada in a time of 10:49. She capped off her season at the World Championship in Hawaii, finishing 15th in her age group with a 11:10 on a very hot and windy day.
Rob has retired from doing Ironman racing (for now ;-) ) and is just happy watching Dana and the folks that he coaches do them. He is preparing for the Clearwater 70.3 World Championships on November 14th
Braden has taken up golf and is enjoying it. However, if the shots don't go where he wants he's been heard saying "These clubs don't work"
Payton is keeping busy with the sleep, school, gymnastics, homework.....repeat cycle.
Paige has moved to the gold team for swimming and is now swimming with the "big kids" The workouts are a lot harder!
Our Music Video
I took a lot of photos in Kona in 2006 when the whole family went. I took so many that I was able to put together a music video slideshow featuring the music of “Seal". The video tells the story about our trip from the start, the earthquake, through ironweek, the race, and finishing up at the Triathlete Magazine post awards party. The link to the You Tube video is below.
